Hop Bunny is our colorful platform runner starring Hopi, a brave little bunny with a red scarf. It is easy to pick up — you only need one finger — but each of its five worlds adds new obstacles and creatures that keep things interesting. This guide walks you through the basics, explains how stars work, and gives you a quick tour of every world so you know what to expect.

The controls in thirty seconds

Hop Bunny is played in landscape mode, so turn your phone sideways before you start. Hopi runs forward on his own; your job is to time the jumps.

  • Tap to jump.
  • Tap again in the air for a double jump. This is your most important move — it rescues you from mistimed jumps and lets you reach carrots placed high above the ground.
  • Hold your finger down to jump higher.
  • Land on top of most creatures to defeat them with a stomp.

Hopi has a few hearts in each level. Touching an obstacle or a creature from the side costs a heart, so it pays to watch the ground ahead rather than Hopi himself.

How to earn three stars

Every level has three goals, and each one you complete gives you a star:

  1. Reach the finish flag. Getting to the end is always the first star.
  2. Collect at least 60% of the carrots. Carrots are often placed along the safest path, so following them is also a good way to learn a level.
  3. Lose at most one heart. This is the hardest star — it rewards clean, careful runs.

Stars are more than bragging rights: you can spend them to open Star Chests full of rewards. A good habit is to finish a level once to learn its layout, then replay it with the goal of collecting carrots and protecting your hearts.

Power-ups and upgrades

You will find three kinds of power-ups along the way:

  • Magnet pulls nearby carrots and coins toward Hopi.
  • Shield protects Hopi from a hit while it lasts.
  • 2x Score doubles the points you earn for a short time.

In the shop you can use coins to make the Magnet and Shield last longer, and to buy an Extra Heart that lets you start every level with one more heart. If you are stuck on a tricky level, the Extra Heart upgrade is usually the best place to spend your first coins.

A tour of the five worlds

Hop Bunny has 40 levels spread across five worlds of eight levels each. You unlock a new world by finishing the one before it, and the speed rises gently from level to level, so the challenge grows with your skills.

1. Carrot Meadow

The first world is a sunny farmland of fences, rocks, logs and tree stumps. Snails crawl slowly toward you and frogs hop along the path; bees buzz overhead. Everything here can be stomped, which makes Carrot Meadow the perfect place to practice the double jump.

2. Mushroom Forest

The forest adds thorn bushes, toxic mushrooms and spiders that slide up and down on their silk threads — wait for the spider to rise before you run underneath. Watch out for hedgehogs: their spines mean you cannot stomp them, so jump clean over instead. Beetles, on the other hand, are fair game.

3. Sand Dunes

In the desert, tall cacti replace tree stumps, tumbleweeds roll toward you along the ground and vultures swoop through the sky. One creature here should be avoided rather than stomped: the scorpion. Snakes can be stomped, but they move quickly, so time your landing carefully.

4. Ice Mountains

The snowy peaks bring ice blocks, rolling snowballs and surprises dropping from above. Penguins are the fastest creatures in the game — they slide at you at high speed — but a well-timed stomp takes care of them. Snowmen are too tall and sturdy to stomp, so go over them.

5. Fire Valley

The final world is the toughest. Lava rocks and spikes cover the ground, geysers erupt without much warning and bats fly in at speed. Slimes and beetles can be stomped. Take your time here: learn where the geysers are on your first run, then go for the stars.

Endless Run and daily rewards

Once you know the basics, try Endless Run. The track never ends and the difficulty slowly increases — the only question is how far you can go. It is a great way to earn coins and to practice reacting to obstacles you have not memorized.

Finally, open the game every day to collect your daily reward. Coming back on consecutive days builds a streak, and the rewards get better as the streak grows.

Five quick tips

  1. Save your double jump. Use a single jump first, and keep the second one for corrections.
  2. Follow the carrots. They usually show the safest line through a level.
  3. Learn which creatures cannot be stomped: hedgehogs, scorpions and snowmen.
  4. Buy the Extra Heart upgrade early — it makes the "lose at most one heart" star much easier.
  5. Replay earlier levels for missing stars and open Star Chests often.
